In the middle of October Pekerti participated in Trade Expo Indonesia. The 25^th Trade Expo Indonesia was held from 13 – 17 October 2010 in Kemayoran Jakarta. Its special moment, because Pekerti showed products from Padang Pariaman. Padang pariaman is the place that hit by earth quake in September last year. In cooperation with JICA-Indonesia, Pekerti conduct some training, product development for artisan to increase their skills and their income. The range products are combine between embroidery and weaving with kind products are boxes, mirrors, bags, stationary, house hold etc. The guide stands are from Padang Pariaman Coop artisan and Pekerti’s staff.

This exhibition has aims to promote products from Padang pariaman to export; staff will learn and know the export products, will learn about exhibition and also know about good quality for export market.

From the exhibition we have a lot of visitor and also respond from them. For examples they want new product catalogues with prices, they request product with development also another suggestion from them. In the end of exhibition we also sell some product to visitor.

The most important  thing is we have to follow up all requirements from the visitor, we hope we can participate on the same exhibition next year.
